For your consideration is this pair of Northland laminated hickory skis, circa post 1940's. Northland Ski Manufacturing Company was incorporated in 1912 by Ole S. Ellevold, former foreman of the Strand Ski Company. The skis show laminated hickory construction and show the company’s logo towards the heel and the toe of the skis. The bindings are Kandahar Hvam bindings and show functional condition. The condition of these skis is fair, with wear consistent with usage and age and in need of tuning; the edges also shown a heavy oxidation. The measurements of these skis are 65" x 3 1/2", and the binding length measurements are 10 1/2".
