For your consideration is an early 1900’s framed postcard of the Northern Pacific engine 3009 in Livingston, Montana, photographed by F.M. Atkin. This engine is the largest engine that ran out of Livingston in the early 1900s. This photo shows the engine resting on the tracks with the engine operator leaning out of the window and a man standing by the engine. The back of the postcard shows cursive correspondence and is stamped with the Series 1902 Benjamin Franklin one cent stamp. This piece is framed in a black wooden frame. The postcard measures 3.5” x 5.5” and the frame measures 6.75” x 8.75”.
