Featured in this lot we have a oak dueling revolver and knife parlor case originating from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. The case is constructed out of oak with a brass lock and shield on the top. The brass shield is marked with a ornately engraved letter "R" at its center. The interior of the case is covered in a dark blue fabric lining with shaped indents for a revolver and a knife. The case also shows a small storage area for ammo or small keep sakes that is currently holding a number of game chips of some kind. The case shows good condition overall with some wear indicative of age. The parlor box measures 11 1/2" wide by 9 1/2" deep and 2 1/4" tall.
