Featured in this lot is this collection of obsidian points from the early to late Archaic period and aged from 2,500 - 1,000 B.P. There are four points in this collection. The first is an obsidian axe head showing wonderfully knapped construction. The next is an Adena bi-point with serrated point. The third point is an Adena point with bi color obsidian construction and an obtuse stem. The last point shows a triangular knapped obsidian point and shows wonderful translucent coloration. The condition of these points is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of these points are 6 1/4" x 3 1/2" x 3/4" for the axe head; 5 7/8" x 1" x 1/2" and 5 3/4" x 1" x 1/4" for the Adena points; 3 7/8" x 1 1/2" x 1/2" for the last.
