The book contains a collection of comical stories from the southern states. It includes stories of Davy Crockett, Uncle Remus, and more. It provides a great overview of Southern anecdotes and comedy from the 1800's. The book is bound in blue linen with red print and gold gilt on the cover and spine that is still bright. The book is in very good condition and measures 7 1/4" X 5" X 1 1/4".
