Featured in this lot is an Ojibwa Indian Silver Gorget Collar Medallion, circa 1780-1820. This collar was likely for a smaller warrior, woman, or child. are an Anishinaabeg group of Indigenous Peoples in North America, which is referred to by many of its Indigenous peoples as Turtle Island. They live in Canada and the United States and are one of the largest Indigenous ethnic groups north of the Rio Grande (Wikipedia). The collar is a crescent moon shaped silver medallion and is in good condition. It measures 5" wide.
