Featured in this lot we have a framed limited edition Robert Wyland print titled "Orca Journey" originating from 1990. Robert Wyland (1956-) is an American conservationist and artist known for his depictions of ocean wildlife. Wyland is best known for his life size outdoor murals of whales and other marine animals dubbed "whaling walls" with he has made over 100 in his career. This print depicts a pod of orcas as they are traveling along a coast line. The piece is split showing an underwater scene with colorful fish, plantlife, and two orcas in the lower half and transitioning to above the water where it shows the pod coming up for air along a foggy forested coastline. The piece is signed in the bottom left reading "Wyland 1990" and marked in gold pen "Wyland 553/650" indicating the piece is limited edition print. The art is set into a wood frame with a black boarder showing cream accents. The piece shows good condition overall with little to no wear. The frame measures 31 3/4" wide by 31 3/4" tall with the art measuring 23" in diameter.
