Featured in this lot is this Order of the Crown of Romania vintage necklace. The necklace features a vintage design to this ceremonial medal. It reads as follows: Prin Noi Insine - 14 Martie 1881 - IA Lucia via Cru; and is stamped 'Coro' on the back of the medal. The Order of the Crown of Romania is a chivalric order set up on 14 March 1881 by King Carol I of Romania to commemorate the establishment of the Kingdom of Romania. It was awarded as a state order until the end of the Romanian monarchy in 1947. It was revived on 30 December 2011 as a dynastic order. The condition of this necklace is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements from clasp to clasp are 18 1/2" and the pendant measures 2" x 1 7/8"
