For your consideration is this original 1900 Deering Harvester Company poster from S.R. Buford & Company in Virginia City, Montana. S.R. Buford & Company was a dealer for Deering as well as Mitchell Wagons in Virginia City, Montana during the late 1800's to early 1900's. The piece shows a wonderful lithographed image of a farmer driving a sickle mower pulled by a team of horses. The top reads "Deering Ideal Mower" and the bottom reads "For Sale by S.R. Buford & Co. / Deering Harvester Company, Chicago, U.S.A.". The bottom left corner reads, "Copyright 1900 by the Deering Harvester Company". This early piece of advertising is in great condition considering it is over 120 years old.
