For your consideration is this original gouache of a Native American in ceremonial attire by Carl Sweezy. Carl Sweezy was a Southern Arapaho painter from Oklahoma. He painted individual portraits, but was best known for his portrayals of ceremonies and dances. This painting is signed in the bottom right hand corner of the painting. The condition of this painting is good with some wear to the frame but no other signs of damage. The measurements of this 19 1/2" x 17 1/2" and the visible art measures 11" x 9".
