Included in this lot we have an original Christopher Red Horse watercolor painting titled "Corn Dancer". Christopher Redhorse is a Pima and Laguna Native American artist and painter. He studied art at St. Catherine's in Santa Fe and spent three years studying at Ft. Lewis. The watercolor features a corn dancer in a colorful headdress / helmet decorated with feathers with painted designs. The background displays a pueblo style village with a cloudy blue sky with a corn stalk rising out of the cloud. The piece is signed in the bottom right hand corner reading "Chyst-Tse- Ma 75" with a small sketch next to the signature. The art is set into a wooden frame with a off white border. The back of the frame shows a informational tag. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear across the frame. The frame measures 13 3/4" wide by 17 3/4" tall with the art measuring 6 3/4" wide by 11" tall.
