Included in this lot is a signed original Dau-Law-Taine Kiowa painting. Darwin Tsoodle Kiowa (Dau-Law-Taine) is a Native American artist who was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma and is known for his depictions of Native American Braves on horseback. This painting displays a Native American Indian man facing sideways with two peyote birds flying in the air on either side of him. The man is wearing a fur cap with three dyed feathers. The man is wrapped in a blue blanket with yellow, white, and red stripes and he is also wearing a large earring. There is an orange sun above the man and a multi-color spotted background featuring yellow, blue, green, purple, and pink dots. The painting is signed in the bottom right corner "Dau-Law-Taine Kiowa 2021". This piece is in great condition, showing no signs of damage. The painting measures 20" by 16".
