Featured in this lot is this original painting from Kiowa artist Dau-Law-Taine. Darwin Tsoodle Kiowa (Dau-Law-Taine) is a Native American artist who was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma and is known for his depictions of Native American Braves on horseback. The painting features a multicolor background that shows a Native American man in a white and black trade blanket and holding a ceremonial shield with three feathers hanging from the shield. The artist signature can be seen in the bottom right hand corner with the date underneath the signature. The condition of this painting is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this painting are 18" x 14".
