Featured in this lot we have a original Gary Riecke wood sculpture of an river otter titled 'River Rascal' from 1979. Riecke is a Montana sculptor based out of Bigfork, Montana and is known for his sculptures primarily in bronze. The piece shows a beautifully carved river otter looking around standing on top of a log. The otter shows simple, smooth, and well crafted features with the log showing more rough texture. The piece shows a brass plaque in the front reading "River Rascal - Gary Riecke" and is marked on the base of the tree "Gray Riecke 1979 ©". The piece is set on top of a some resin and wood.
