Jenny Robinson can best be described as an impressionistic painter of the modern West, her subjects reflecting her love of horses, dogs, wildlife, ranching, and mountain as well as rural landscapes. Her oil paintings vibrate with "dazzling, fractured colors, crystalline brush strokes and juicy impasto''. Jenny currently resides in Brush, Colorado where she feels blessed to be surrounded by rich inspiration for her artwork. Over recent years, her work has been accepted into many juried western art shows such as the Mountain Oyster Club Art Show and Sale in Tucson AZ, the Western Spirit Art Show in Cheyenne, WY, the Bosque Art Classic in Clifton TX, the Breckenridge Texas Annual Juried Art Show, the Greeley National Art Exhibition, the Governor's Invitational Art Show in Loveland, CO, and many more. Jenny also paints dog, horse, and livestock portraits on a commission basis. The oil painting features a scene of fall colors with a wooded area at the base of a hill our root of a mountain that shows a clearing to the right of the wooded area. The condition of this oil on canvas is good with no obvious signs of damage to the artwork with some scratches tot he paint of the frame due to wear but otherwise shows good overall condition.
