This is an original Kevin Red Star framed sketch. Kevin Red Star is a Native American artist who was born and raised on the Crow Indian Reservation in Lodge Grass, Montana. He attended the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico and later received a scholarship to the San Francisco Art Institute. In 1997, He was given an honorary doctorate degree in Fine Art from the Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. Additionally, he was inducted into the Russell Skull Society for the Charles Russell Auction in 2014. This sketch shows a Crow Indian portrait executed in pencil and painted in watercolor. The piece shows wonderful detail and artistic talent. It has been signed by the artist in the lower left corner. The sketch is in good condition. It measures 5" x 7.25" and the frame measures 14" x 16".
