Featured in this lot are two, original cabinet card photos of locomotives / railroad scenes from the late 1880-90s. The first in this lot shows a group of five men standing in a railroad yard in front of a large building a locomotive. A few of the men are smiling and a few have neutral faces as they look towards the camera. The locomotive on the background features the number "215" on the top and front of the locomotive. No makers mark or photographer mark is noted on the photo. The second photo shows a singular man standing near the railroad next to a large locomotive. The locomotive is moving through some large, rock canyons and is only pulling three cars behind it. This photo also features no makers mark or photographers mark. The first photo measures 3 7/8" L x 5 5/8" W (visible photo) while the entire piece measures 6 3/8" L x 8 1/2" W. The second photo measures 5" L x 7" W.
