This is an original Loet Vanderveen bronze oryx sculpture. Vanderveen was a Dutch sculptor who lived from 1921-2015. His fascination with animals began during his childhood and inspired many of his works later in life as an accomplished artist. This piece depicts an oryx with its beautiful curved horns. The artist employs a unique, simple style to create an elegant figure. The piece has been signed by the artist and is numbered 390/750. The bronze is in very good condition.
