Featured in this lot is this pair of original Paul Frankel pretzel rattan armrests circa 1960's. There are two chairs in this collection and show seats and cushion for each chair. The cushions show design consistent with 1960's geometric patterns. The frame features six strand rattan construction and is tied with wicker ties. Rattan, also spelled ratan, is the name for roughly 600 species of Old World climbing palms belonging to subfamily Calamoideae. The condition of these chairs is fair with some wear to the cushions and the wooden frame consistent with the age and use of the chairs but otherwise in fair overall condition. The measurements of these chairs are 32 1/2" x 38" x 33 1/2".
