Featured in this lot is this original photograph of a group of miners having a glass of beer in a bar in the 1880-1890s. Seven men are pictured in this photograph with six of them miners and one of them being the bar keep. They are still in their miners clothing and the one at the front of the bar still has his lunch pail in his hand. They all hold a glass of beer as they look towards the camera, slightly posing for the photo. A billiard table and regular table can be seen in the left hand corner, while decanters and bottles can be seen lining the back of the bar. No photographer mark or hallmark is present on the photo. It shows good condition overall with slight wear present from its age and use over the years, but no signs of damage is noted. It measures 6" L x 8" W and weighs under 6 ounces.
