Staggs was born in Los Angeles in 1941, she graduated from the Otis Parsons Art Institute and currently has a studio in downtown Los Angeles. The painting shows the image of a Native American chief in a interesting water color style. The painting shows colors of blue, red, green, grey, light purple, and off white. The piece is signed in the upper left hand side reading "Sari Staggs 1974". The painting is set into a dark wood frame with a colored border around the piece. The piece shows good condition overall.
