For your consideration is an original signed painting "Lance-Bearer" by Anthony Mitchell c. 1985. Mitchell is a full-blood Creek-Seminole Indian. This piece shows a Native American Indian riding a white horse with a red circle painted around it's eye, using a spear. The is a multicircle and color sun or moon above the rider. The multiple vibrant colors in this painting show many details including feathers on the spear and headdress, muscles on the horse and Indian, the tip of the spear, and dust flying around the scene. In the bottom right corner is the artist's signature and date, as well as the title of work at the bottom of the center. The visible are measure approximately 5 1/2x 9 1/2", and this piece is set in a custom frame measuring 11x 15 3/4".
