For your consideration is this wall mounted coffee grinder by Zassenhaus, made in Western Germany circa 1949-1990. This is a good midcentury coffee grinder from before the abolishment of the Western German statehood. The grinder shows a farmhouse decoration to the porcelain jar and an aluminum grinder unit. The glass jar shows one cup maximum ground beans. The grinder also shows a brass inlaid crest of the company, stating 'original Zassenhgaus'. Zassenhaus is a German purveyor of finely crafted hand mills for coffee, spices, pepper, and salt. Although not as well known in North America, the Zassenhaus brand has been around for almost 150 years, with many of their older products selling as high-priced antiques. The condition of this coffee grinder is fair, with a good example of oak wall mount shield and no obvious signs of damage to the porcelain jar. The measurements of this coffee grinder is 15 3/4" x 7" x 7 1/4".
