This is an original WWI Red Cross nurse poster from circa 1918. The poster shows a nurse and a young girl in the foreground while the ravages of war carry on in the background. The artwork for the poster was created by Cornelius Hicks, an American painter in the early 1900's. The bottom of the piece reads "Our Greatest Mother Join!". The bottom left corner is marked "American Lithographic Co. Inc., N.Y. U.S.A.". The bottom right corner is marked "Litho in U.S.A.". The Red Cross poster is in good condition. The poster measures 20" x 30".
