This stunning artwork shows a Native American calling to the sprits near Devils Tower (known to the Native Americans as Bear's Tipi) In the storm clouds above is the images of a herd of bison and a flying eagle. Born in Amarillo, Texas, but raised with his ancestral culture in Oklahoma, his work is heavily influenced by Native American ceremonies, meditation, and vision quests, Rod Bearcloud Berry (b. 1950) has spent over thirty years developing his skills as a painter in order to express and create an understanding of the spirit of his visions. His paintings have a powerful emotional impact that connects us into the Spirit world of nature and man and it continues to draw us back again and again. His paintings are described as "visionary imagery" that often incorporates spiritual themes, such as the Great Spirit, animal guides like eagles, and celestial elements. This beautiful lithograph is signed on the lower bottom right corner, artist's hallmark is on the lower left corner with 355/950.
