Featured in this lot is this bronze sculpture called "Lone Walk to Bunkhouse," by Wyoming artist Owen D. Mort circa 1973. The sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze construction that shows a older cowboy with a moustache and carrying his hat in his hand and his saddle over his shoulder. The bronze is mounted on a hard wood base and is marked as follows: MORT - 73. The condition of this bronze sculpture is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this bronze sculpture is 14 1/4" x 5 3/4" x 5 1/2". The collective weight of this bronze sculpture is 10lb 14oz. Provenance: the Owen D. Mort, Jr. Collection. Owen David Mort was an American engineer who amassed an impressive collection throughout his worldwide travels. His collection has included art, artifacts and other historical items from which he has donated to museums at the University of Utah and Snite Museum of Art, the University of Notre Dame, including of Afghani artifacts.
