Offered in this lot we have a pair of Native American Indian police badges originating from the early 20th century. The first of the badges is made of brass in the shape of a shield and it marked in the front reading "Apache US Police" with etched patterns. The second piece is constructed out of nickel silver and in in the shape of a 6 pointed star. The face of the piece is marked "Indian 22 Police" with patterns in each of the 6 corners. The badges are in good condition overall with a warm patina. The larger of the two measures 2 1/2" tall by 2 1/4" wide.
