Offered in this lot we have a pair of original framed ink etchings originating from the early 19th century. The first of the pieces shows a waterway with a stone bridge running across over the top. The etching is marked in the right hand corner reading "Venezia Pointe - Di Rialto" and marked in the left with "MCMXXIV". The etching is marked in pencil reading "H G Bestson". The second piece shows the image of a Cathedral surrounded by city landscape. The etching is marked across the bottom of the piece in pencil. Both pieces are set into black and gold painted wood frames. The etchings are in good condition overall, but the frames show some damage and wear. The first frame measures 13" tall by 16" wide and the second measures 17 3/8" tall by 14" wide.
