Offered in this lot is a pair of unusual Venetian polychrome bead necklaces. These necklaces have a wide variety of style of beads, some featuring trail work. There are beads on these strands from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Most of these beads are Venetian, though there is one Asian made bead made to look Venetian. Both of these necklaces are in very good condition. Provenance: letter of appraisal from Out-West Designs, L. W. Dinneen, dated May 1, 1999, with a value of $400-$600 and $900.
