Offered in this lot is a pair of Venetian trade bead sampler necklaces. These necklaces show a large assortment of the various different beads that were produced for trade with Native people of the world. These necklaces are very tightly strung on raffia fiber. The necklaces show "feather" beads, "chevron" beads, "fancy" beads, "millefiori" beads, "eye" beads, and many more styles. One necklace measures 31" and has 62 beads; the other necklace measures 32" and has 66 beads. All of these beads are in very good condition for their age.
