For your consideration is this pair of Washington state, brass Department of Highways badge and Washington private agency patrol badge, circa mid 1900's. There are two badges in this collection, with the first one being a Department of Highways State of Washington badge with badge #213, which includes the seal of the State of Washington in its center. The second is a Washington State Patrolman - Private Agency - Protective badge. The condition of these badges is good, with no obvious signs of damage. Provenance: From the famed ex-collection of Western History, Jim Aplan. The measurements of these badges are 2 3/4" x 2 1/4" and 2 3/4" x 2 1/4 for the hat badge.
