Included in this lot is a Papago Native American Indian, hand woven coil basket. The Papago Tohono O'odham (People of the Desert) are located in Arizona and are known for their weaving skills. This basket displays traditional hand woven coil design and is primarily constructed out of Yucca. The piece shows four geometric patterns woven out of bear grass. The basket shows a wonderful, tight weave and is in good condition, overall. The piece measures 12" in diameter by 3 1/2" tall.
