Parker Bothers Top Action Hammer Damascus Shotgun

Included in this lot is a fine example of a Parker Brothers 12-gauge Damascus steel barrel side by side shotgun. This beautiful shotgun is built on a size 1 frame with 30” Damascus twist barrels chambered in 12 gauge. The top of the barrel rib reads “Parker Bros Makers. Meriden Conn. Damascus Steel”. The undersides of the barrels are stamped “T” and “12-3”, indicating the barrel weight. This shotgun is fitted with beautiful straight grain walnut and faded hand checkering on the fore grip and pistol grip. The butt stock of the shotgun is a crescent metal plate. “Parker Bros" is inscribed on both sides of the lock plate and a silver shield is present on the top of the grip. The shotgun shows a wonderful patina to the blue and casehardened features. The serial number shows a manufacture date of 1884. Serial Number: 44320. This firearm qualifies as an Antique and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
