Featured in this lot is a bronze sculpture of a ram's head by American artist Kent "Patch" Peterson who was born in 1939 and died in 2019. The bronze sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted construction that is sculpted in a familiar way to Pat Peterson's wood carvings and shows a bronze wooden cutout with a ram's head sculpted into the bronze. The bronze is marked as follows: Patch Peterson - 1/50. Patch was known for his Western wood, bronze and pewter sculptures and his charismatic character. His iconic eye patch, cowboy hat and plaid shirt, paired with easy conversation and cowboy sayings, made him unforgettable.
The condition of this bronze sculpture is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this bronze sculpture are 24 1/4" x 14 1/2" x 1 3/4".*
