Featured in this lot we have a Paul Morgenstern German regulator wall clock. Morgensten was a watch and clockmaker located in Rabenau, Germany. The clock originates from the late 1800's to early 1900's. It features wonderful german craftsmanship clock work, with porcelain clock face, pendulum bob, and pendulum gauge. The clock is marked in a number of places, first on the back is marked with a partially faded manufacturers stamp that reads "Paul Morgenstern - Uhrmacher u. Golden-lter - Tn. B̦ltnan's Nachilg. - Rabenau i. s.", the back of the door is marked "Windsor Clock & Watch Co. - 7212 University Ave. - Des Moines, IA 50311 - (515) 277-0277" with the pendulum marked "R = A". The clock shows a great dark wood exterior with turned sides framing the three glass windows allowing easy viewing access to the clock works and face. The clock is in good condition for its age with some slight damage to the bottom of the piece. The clock is in working order and comes with its own clock key. The clock measures 38" tall by 14" wide by 6 1/2" deep.
