Featured in this lot we have a Pendleton woolen mills, Glacier National Park, wool blanket originating from circa 1910 to 1930. Glacier National Park was the first of the parks in the Pendleton collection. The blanket is manufactured out of 100% pure virgin wool. The piece incorporates 7 colored bands on each end of the blanket. Each side includes two black, red, and green stripes with a single stripe of yellow. The original blankets incorporated three, four or five black stripes in the design, which indicated the value of the blanket. Colors and variations of the original striped theme have been adapted to reflect distinguishing characteristics of each park and blanket in the collection. The blanket shows a Pendleton Glacier National Park tag on the bottom right hand corner. The blanket shows good condition overall with some minor wear and damage. The blanket measures
