This item is the original Pendleton Yellowstone National Park Blanket, originating from circa 1940 -. The blanket is primarily off-white in color, and each end has 7 striking polychrome lines in rich black, and vibrant red and green. The blanket shows the trademark Pendleton tag on the bottom right corner, and depicts a curious looking grizzly bear, and reads "Yellowstone National Park Blanket - Pendleton Woolen Mills - Pendleton, Oregon. - Reg. U.S. - Pat.OFF - 100% Virgin Wool". The blanket is in very-good condition for age, showing very minimal staining on one side, no apparent bleeding of color, or tears. The label on the blanket does show some deterioration, and has a additional edge protectors. The blanket measures 67 3/8" wide, and 84 3/4" long.
