Featured is a signed classic "Perrault's Standard Dictionary of Fishing Flies", by Keith E. Perrault, with separate dedication from the author. Contains appendices on fishing organizations, fly tiers, bibliography plus a glossary of fly tying terms. There's a lot flies listed herein - some 16,000. Flies for every fish that swims - saltwater, freshwater, waters north and south and east and west and lakes and streams; streamers, dries, nymphs, wets, trout, steelhead and salmon. It is interesting to look over the course of several centuries and the explosion of fly patterns. The fly patterns come from around the world such as England, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, Denmark, Africa, New Zealand, Australia, India, Argentina, and Norway, as well as from parts of the world with their own isolated fly fishing colonies, unknown to most fishermen but often made up of master anglers.
The book is bound in burgundy leatherette with gilt lettering on the spine and front cover, in good condition throughout. Measures 10.25"L x 7.25"W x 1.25"D
