For your consideration is this Peters Brothers Cutlery (1876-1886) hoof knife. The knife is a folding blade with the locking mechanism shown at the blade joint and is decorated with a deer hoof and the knife makers mark shown clearly on the blade. The condition of this knife is poor showing damage to the deer hoof constructed handle with heavy oxidation to the knifes frame. The measurements of this knife are 9" x 1" x 2".
