For your consideration in this lot is a early C.1900's pewter souvenir tumbler from Bozeman Montana. The tumbler shows buildings from Montana Agriculture Collage on one side, the Carnegie Library on another side and Gallatin County High School on the last side. Montana Agriculture Collage was founded in 1893 and became Montana State University in 1965. Carnegie Library was built in 1903-4 and served until 1980. Gallatin County High School was built in 1902 and served until 1958 and then became Wilson (elementary) school. The bottom is stamped "The Fair Bozeman Montana". The first Fair at the fairgrounds in Bozeman (Gallatin County Fairgrounds) was in 1902, this souvenir cup is believed to have come a few years after that event. The tumbler measures 3 1/2" tall and 2 1/4" across at the opening and 1 5/8" across the bottom. The tumbler is in good to fair condition.
