The lot features a unique mid-century jacket comprised of tanned hide leather accented by Plains Indian beadwork, fringes and rabbit fur with a Frontiersman or Scout pattern. The jacket shows a scrapped tanned hide leather with nice buckskin yellow / brown color with a rabbit fur cape framing the chest, shoulders and back of the coat which is further accented by the wonderful hand cut long and short hide fringes along with three old hickory bark on buttons and a single antler bur button. The jacket has a wide beaded pannel section on the medium or lower back which is from the Plains Indians showing glass trade beads in black, white, corn yellow, light blue and red. The jacket was likely from a Western Cowboy, Frontiersman or Scout from the West dating to the mid 1900's. The large jacket measures 43"L by 62"W. Appears to fit a men's large to extra large (sizes are completely an approximation and can vary).
