Featured in this lot is this Plains Indians beaded Parfleche wrapped pipe tomahawk circa late 20th century. This pipe tomahawk features a wonderfully and professionally crafted tiger maple and Parfleche wrapped construction that features iron tack decoration and is beaded with trade seed beads with coloration of sky blue, medium red, medium blue, and chalk white. The feathers adorning the head are colored turkey feathers . The axe head is cast as is the pipe on the other end of the head and features a Parfleche wrapped construction. The condition of this pipe tomahawk is good with oxidation adorning the blade and the pipe but otherwise is in good overall condition. The measurements of this pipe tomahawk are 22 3/4" x 7 1/8" x 1 1/4".
