This is a Northern Plains Native American Indian necklace. The necklace is strung on sinew and features 8 black bear claws and a turtle tail. The claws are separated by hair pipe bone beads and glass trade beads. Each bear claw has inlaid trade bead as well believed to represent an "eye". In addition, there are two wonderful amber beads that show a deep, rich color. The Indian necklace is in good condition. It measures 30" long.
