For your bidding pleasure is this Plains Native American Buffalo Dancing Wand. This exotic dance wand from the early 1900's has both horse hair and buffalo hair tied to the base of the wand with sinew strings. Some of these strings have beads attached to them with one tipped with a feather. The shaft of the wand is wrapped in animal hide. The top of the wand has a buffalo horn fastened with rawhide and filled with beads and closed off with a strip of rawhide stitched to the open end of the horn.
