For your consideration is a contemporary, Plains Indian, spontoon style pipe tomahawk. The bowl and blade are made from a solid piece of brass with a heart cut out and in style of basal processes. The wooden haft is intricately carved, showing a bear on the wood and Native American beading. It also shows leather wrapping and fringing, as well as beautiful feathers at the eye. The pipe tomahawk is in good condition, overall. It measures 19" x 16.5".
