Featured in this lot is this hunting bow collection attributed to the Northern Plains Indians. There are two bows in this collection. The first shows a longer hardwood shoot design with a red ochre colored bowstring. The second is constructed from a lighter hardwood branch or shoot and includes a slight warp to the left. The condition of this pair of bows is good, however only one shows a braided twine bowstring. The measurements of this bow collection are 45 1/4" x 4 1/2" x 1" and 42 1/2" x 1 3/4".
