For your consideration is this Parfleche polychromal dancing rattle attributed to the Plains Indians. This dancing wand shows a Parfleche wrapped construction with a solid clay red polychromal paint on the entire exterior of the dancing rattle and a white painted lizard on both sides of the head of the rattle with a yellow fabric sewn to the handle. There is a string of Trade Seed Beads adorning the handle including colors such as: Dark Red, Dark Transparent Red, Navy Blue, Royal Blue, Pony Trader/Powder Blue, Turquoise Blue, & Light or Medium Green. The condition of dancing wand is good with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this dancing wand are 6 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/4".
