Featured in this lot is this fully beaded knife and sheath from the plains Indians, circa 1970's. The knife handle and sheath are beautifully decorated with glass trade seed beads in colors of chalk white, yellow, translucent purple, translucent Cheyenne pink, Cheyenne pink, and black. The sheath is constructed from Indian tanned hide and features a square footing; the knife shows Japanese construction and is marked “Bloomfield 3924 Stainless Steel”. The condition of this knife and sheath is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this beaded sheath and knife are 9 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 1".
