This is a Plains Native American Indian beaded bag from the mid to late 1900's. The bag is made on tanned hide believed to be elk or deer and features a traditional geometric beaded design. The beadwork is done in glass seed trade beads in colors such as Greasy Yellow, Cheyenne Pink, Sky Blue and Semi-Transparent Green. The bag also has hand cut fringe with tin jingle cones and is lined with calico trade cloth. The Plains Indian beaded bag is in good condition. It measures 4" in diameter.
