Featured in this lot is this Plains Indians horse painted Parfleche wrapped drum circa 1980's. The drum features a wonderfully and professionally crafted Parfleche wrapped construction that features a painted face with three horses painted on its face and shows a circular wooden frame that is segmented and expertly placed to keep its consistent slope. The beater features a cut wooden core with a hide wrapped tip. The condition of this drum is is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this drum are 18" x 16 1/2" x 3" and the beater measures 12 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 1 1/2".
